This is because we develop our auditory senses before our visual ones; you can hear before you can see!

When faced with the question of whether I would rather be an amazing artist or an amazing musician, my choice leans towards the latter. Traditionally, artists are often associated with visual arts like drawing and painting. However, musicians are also considered artists, and I would prefer to be an amazing musical artist.
The Life of a Professional Musician
Imagine being a professional football player, a middle linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers or the Oakland Raiders, with an intense, fast, and intimidating demeanor. My name would be “KK” or “Double K’s,” a feared and respected player who could wreak havoc on the field. With a double down face mask, I would instill fear in opposing players, especially running backs and quarterbacks, symbolizing the toughness and dominance required in the NFL.
The Appeal of Music Over Art
While artists and musicians both possess unique talents, I feel that music touches a deep, emotional chord. It has a universal appeal that transcends cultural and social barriers. Music is an essential human expression, akin to movement. It speaks to the soul and brings people together in ways that other art forms do not. It’s the reason why Arabic countries, despite religious interpretations that limit visual art, still have vibrant music scenes.

Even in places where art is not as prevalent, music plays a critical role. Think of how even in fundamentalist cultures, where other artistic forms are discouraged, music still thrives. This is because music is a fundamental part of human expression that resonates with people on a physiological and emotional level. It predates visual art in our cognitive development, and its power to evoke feelings and create connections is unparalleled.
