The Feud Between Kanye West and Taylor Swift: My View and Why Taylor Is Right

The Feud Between Kanye West and Taylor Swift: My View and Why Taylor Is Right

Back in 2009, I had no idea who Kanye West was, but I was watching an award show for Taylor Swift. What happened during that show was despicable, and the fact that West didn't apologize until it was forced out of Taylor in an interview spoke volumes about his character.

Flashforward to 2015

When the song 'Famous' came out, I was appalled by Kanye’s comments, which were unhealthy and inappropriate. Taylor Swift's statement clarified that she had no idea she was going to be called a bitch, and Kanye never played her the whole song. Knowing Kanye and the Kardashian family's track record for making controversial statements to gain attention or publicity, I wasn't surprised that she felt wronged. I believed whatever they said about the issue was bound to be a lie.

The Continuation of Disputes

Fast forward to 2023, the feud continued with Kim Kardashian lying about the issue again. For example, on Twitter, Kim said Taylor Swift used footage to selfishly bring attention to herself amid a worldwide health crisis. However, Taylor Swift responded on Instagram, saying, 'This issue isn’t relevant in the current worldwide scenario, and I urge people to focus on what really matters.' She also urged people to donate if they could. These conflicting statements only further fueled my belief that Kanye was in the wrong.

The Phone Call Released

When the phone call between Taylor Swift and Kanye West was released, it reinforced my initial stance. Taylor Swift did not agree to anything that Kanye West said she did. The release of the call was a confirmation of her integrity and the fallacy of Kanye’s claims.

Four Years Later, The Issue Persists

Four years later, I've been asked about this issue multiple times, and my response has remained consistent. I have better things to do with my life than get sidetracked by Kanye's latest controversies. His behavior has been a consistent cause of concern, and I remain convinced that Taylor Swift is in the right.

Final Thoughts

Kanye West is a has-been hack, and his actions have nothing to do with me. Taylor Swift, on the other hand, has remained a symbol of authenticity and grace in her response to the controversy. She has shown that integrity and focus on matters that truly matter are more important than what the tabloids or social media might dictate.

While I don't give two shits about either of them, it's clear that Taylor Swift holds a higher moral ground in this feud. Her actions and statements continue to resonate with the vast majority of her supporters, and I stand by that stance.
