The Lutras from Scotland
Beyond the limited reach of Spotify, there lies a small rock band from Dumfries, Scotland, known as The Lutras. While they currently have more than 1,000 monthly listeners, their potential and the quality of their music undoubtedly should warrant a much wider audience. Their frontman, Ben, boasts an incredibly impressive vocal range, and his talent deserves to be recognized more.
One of their standout tracks is “Run and Hide,” which, despite its catchy melody, has so far not achieved the mainstream recognition it deserves. My personal favorite is a recently released song titled “In The Mood,” which I believe is worthy of going viral across all platforms. Give it a listen!

She is an incredibly special artist.

Derek Drucks and the Tedeschi/Trucks Band also warrants attention. Susan Tedeschi, one of the key figures in this band, is a fantastic Delta blueswoman with a soulful voice reminiscent of Bonnie Raitt. Derek Trucks, her guitarist, is a legendary delta bluesman and a great credential in his own right. His family background adds to his significant talent, making them a critical band to follow.
